Ingredients
Scale
Produce
- 12 ounce Cherry Tomatoes
- 1 Red Onion
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 2 sprigs Fresh Basil
Pasta & Grains
- 12 ounce Linguine
Pantry
- 2 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 4 1/2 cups Water
- 2 tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
Cheese
- Grated Parmesan Cheese to taste
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Place the linguine, cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, sea salt, ground black pepper, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, extra-virgin olive oil, and fresh basil sprigs together in a large pot.
- Add Water and Boil: Pour in 4 1/2 cups of water over the ingredients and bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the Pasta: Once boiling, let it cook for 9 minutes. Occasionally use tongs to lift and toss the pasta to prevent it from sticking to the pot bottom. Then turn off the heat.
- Thicken Sauce: Quickly toss the contents a few times so the remaining liquid thickens naturally into a light sauce coating the pasta and vegetables.
- Serve and Garnish: Serve the pasta topped with grated Parmesan cheese and any additional fresh basil leaves. Optionally, pair with a fresh salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. Enjoy!
Notes
